About Nach

Nach Dudsdeemaytha is a Thai-Canadian filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. He holds over a dozen producer credits on award-winning short films and web series, including Inconceivable, which has been nominated for Breakthrough Short Film Series at the 2017 IFP Gotham Awards.

With his portfolio of short film projects, Nach strives to tell stories of the Asian diaspora with authenticity. Some of his award-winning short films include Cypher, Tokyo Lovers, and The Day We Met.

His latest short works include Michael Vidler’s Deeper I Go, starring Hiro Kanagawa, and In Loving Memory, a collaboration with Mayumi Yoshida, Diana Bang, and Andrea Bang. Both films are currently on the festival circuit.

Currently, Nach is developing two feature film projects: Mongrels, selected as one of Telefilm’s Talent to Watch projects in 2020 with director Jerome Yoo attached; and AKASHI, a feature project based on the short film of the same name with director Mayumi Yoshida & producer Tyler Hagan attached.

Nach is the co-founder of This is a Spoon Studios and Musubi Arts.
